Frequently Asked Questions

  • How is a Thatz Me! made?

  • Your Thatz Me! is a revolutionary new product digitally printed on a repositionable low-tack FABRIC material that will not damamge your walls or paint and is perfect for capturing life-like photographs at high resolutions. Unlike similar vinyl products, this fabric will stay where you want it and the edges will not curl due to the natural shrinkage of vinyl. We have chosen to print our product on this fabric material because of its durability and high resistance to stretching and tearing.

  • Is there any other way to order a Thatz Me! other than this website?

  • The quality of your Thatz Me! will be determined by the quality of your camera. A 5 mega pixel or higher DIGITAL camera is recomended. The higher resolution or mega pixel camera you use, the clearer your Thatz Me! will be. Remember, larger files do not necessarily mean better clarity.

  • I received my Thatz Me! now how do I apply it to the wall?

  • INSTALLATION IS A SNAP!

Since your That’s Me! is rather large in size, Itz always helpful to ask for a friends help. (besides, you want to show it off anyways, right?) Remember to take your time… Why rush a good thing? Your Thatz Me! is made from Photo-Tex material and is pretty resilient to damage under normal application and replacement, but it never hurts to take your time.

Remove your Thatz Me! from its shipping tube, unroll it, and lay it on a flat surface for about an hour. Because it has been rolled up for a while, it may take a little more time for it to relax. Go grab your friend a lemonade, watch the game, and come back in about an hour.

    1. Pick the area of your wall that you will grace with the presence of your new Thatz Me! and measure it to make sure that it will fit. Make sure that the area you choose is smooth! Rough surfaces make it difficult for your new Thatz Me! to stick.
    2. Be careful that you are applying it to a clean and dry surface. If the area has some dirt or other things on it, you can clean it with a little water and dry completely. Do not use any cleaning agents to clean, they could react with the special non residue glue on the back. Old fashioned water should do the trick! Allow surface to dry.
    3. Peel the Thatz Me! from the waxy backing paper and keep the backing paper in the tube so that you can use it to store your Thatz Me! if you ever to carry it over to grandmas house for the weekend. If the back of your Thatz Me! should happen to stick to itself, don’t panic! You should easily be able to slowly peel it away and straighten it back out again with no ill effects! Thatz whats cool about this fabric material versus vinyl! Try that with our vinyl competitors!! After moving it 2 or 3 times, you’ll be a Thatz Me! professional!
    4. Beginning with the bottom corner, stick it to the wall and work your way up. If you get wrinkles or air pockets in it, once again DON’T PANIC! Just peel it off alittle, and go at it again! Within a few minutes, you have grand ideas about starting a company going around putting up Thatz Me! decals for all of your friends! ( Just don’t share all of the trade secrets with them!)
    5. Stand Back and stare in wonder of your new Thatz Me! on your wall! NOW WASN’T THAT EASY?
    6. SHOW YOUR FRIENDS. AFTER ALL, YOU HAVE ALREADY SEEN IT RIGHT? GIVE THEM OUR WEBSITE ADDRESS AND TELL THEM THAT IF THEY DO NOT ORDER ONE, YOU WILL NOT BE THEIR FRIEND.

REMEMBER THAT YOUR NEW Thatz Me! does not like dirt, unfinished drywall, outside appearances, or wallpapered walls! Try to figure a way around these pitfalls!

  • How do I improve the clarity of my Thatz Me!?

  • Remember these quick picture taking tips to further help you out. Try not to zoom in too much. It will get you closer to the action, but when we blow these up to full size, they tend to get hazy or even a little blurry. So if you don’t have to, try not to zoom in on your subject. Try to allow your subject to fill out most of the picture space without cropping anything off. ( your friend or kids will not look good with no head!) Preview your picture on the preview page before submitting your order. There are several opportunities for you to preview before you click the final button, so look at them closely! Unless you have a high dollar camera, be very careful when submitting an action photo. Blurring is very common in these photos, and may not be noticeable until it is blown up. Try to zoom in on any of these action photos and take a close look! Any blurring from actions will definitely show in your Thatz Me!
